I like my name. People comment on the fact that it is uncommon. And I think it is a pretty name too. So yes, it would be the same.

No friggin way I would name myself the common *** name that I have. I would pick something more exotic and spelled all cool. Like something that goes along with my Dutch roots, like Annaka or Danika.

No way. I have one of the most common first names. I'd prefer something a little more exotic.

As a parent I wouldn't appreciate it if my son wanted to change his name and I'm sure my parents would feel the same way.

Well, since my vocal skills were not so great, if I had chosen my name when I was born, it would probably be something like "Ga-ga-go" so I am glad I have Ludie.
It is not common and starts some interesting conversations. . .

No! My father named me after my mother, who was named after her grandmother who didn't like her? What kind of name is that for a child? I want the name to mean something special. (But no made up stupid names like Apple, Peaches. (LOL))
