the cow thing must be an American thing, I am Dutch and in my country the typical name for a cow is Clara, not Elsa.

I think it would be fine for cousins to be named Ella and Elsa, some people name brothers and sisters even more similar names. I also like the name Elisa, and i think that would work too.

Ella and Elsa are both wonderful names, not used enough in my opinion. I don't like Elisa or Eliza. And no, I don't think Ella and Elsa are too similar for two cousins.

Ella, Elsa, & Elisa are all very pretty - yes, they're similar, but that shouldn't stop you from using whatever one you like best.

i think it should be fine just have a chit chat with your sister in law what you name your child is a reflection of your own personal choice... not the way other people pick things... who knows they might end up being really close and loving that there names are just as tight or they might never talk to each other in which case it wont make much of a difference. if your worried about people getting them mixed up... oh well its their own silly fault! hehe! anyways i think you should follow your heart and do what you want because you only have one chance and then that child is going to have that name forever!
by the way i think elisa is a very pretty name :)
peace out bunnie!

I like each name, but I'm kind of partial to Ella, since it's my daughters name. but Elsa is a nice name too it's not used too much in America but I don't know how much it's used in your country.

Don´t worry! If you like the name, there isn´t any problem!. They don´t have the same name, the problem maybe is if they´re called "Ella" and "Elle", but Elsa is nice.
Good Luck!

No, you should call your baby what ever you like. But you may find that when you do eventually become pregnant, you'll pick a name then change your mind quite often. Then you will probably decide on a name that you never thought of before.

No offense, but I think Elsa is a pretty name...for a cow. Ella is beautiful. Why not go with Elisabeth and you can give her a nickname. Elsa, Elisa, Lis, Liz, Beth, Betty..the choices are endless.

I believe you should go for Elsa! It isn't as if they are sisters and it might get confusing!
