my boyfriend (19) is 1.53 cm (5'4) and im (17) about 1.68/170 cm (5'6/5'7) tall.
we've been going out for 9 months. ive known him for 4 years. ive always lliked him and so have him. my parents dont want us to be together mainly because hes shorter than I. people always stare at us and make .. comments.. i personally dont care but sometimes it makes me cry because it just hurts how people think and judge us without even knowing anything about us..

Who cares? Katie Holmes is taller than Tom Cruise. If you start getting hung up on little issues like this, then you are going to have problems if you stay together. Besides if he is only two or three inches shorter than you, can people REALLY tell a difference. I mean if you were like 6'5 and he was 5'0 then I might say a joke about it, but that wouldn't mean I am thinking you weren't meant for each other.

I'm sorry to break it to you but 1.53cm is just 5ft1/2 (5ft 0 and a 1/2 an inch). You are 5ft6/5ft7 tall.
I should know...I am a female and I am just 5ft3.
Why is he so short? Are his parents short? Is there something wrong with him which made him so short? That is very short for a male. My brothers are only 5ft7 and I consider them short.
Height I guess doesn't really matter but I am 16 years old and hoping I will grow taller...
Edit: He must be 1.53m (not cm). He would be 153cm. Are you from Australia? I am.

Nope, be happy, ya'll are close enough in height its easy to kiss!
I know what you mean about hte comments though, except ive got the opposite problem, I'm short and my boyfriend is 6'9". I get so much crap about it from everyone, especially tall girls.
People tend ot think they're being funny, or masking their jealousy of a good relationship so just let ithe comments roll of you.

Why would your parents be so judgemental just because of your and his height? That is so wrong! I am taller than my boyfriend by 3-4 inches! We love each other, and people accept us. Jesus Christ is THE Judge. Not other people. Hope this helps.

Height doesnt matter at all.Its the person inside them. So what if people stare.So what if they make fun of you.
Just ignore them.They just dont know what a real relationship is. It just matters the person inside them.Who cares about what he looks like and how tall is he.Just look at the personality.the people that make fun of you,just pretend thier demens,cause they are.If you love him and he treats you right he is a keeper.

aww dont break up just because of height, thats really petty. my mom is 5'5 and my dad is 5'2 so it can work. just follow your heart. good luck with everything.

Who cares??!!! It's your relationship to do what you want with it. Your problem isn't that bad, I'm 5'1'' and my bf is 5'6'' so count your blessins hunn.
