Catfish will devour any fry! You have to give them a chance to grow big enough to evade predators. Keep them in the box a little longer, and give them artificial (or real) "grass" to hide in, against the edges of the tank.

from what i was told (and i soon will experience...my guppy gave birth 2 days ago) it takes about a month for the fry to get big enough that they won't fit in the adult guppy's mouth and therefore won't be eaten by their parents. i'm not sure about the catfish though...possibly they'd need to be even bigger not to be eaten by them? either way, i'd say keep them separate for at least a month.
good luck!

neon like eating their eggs and frys of other fish.....two weeks is not enough the frys are still small at that time. an option is separate the batch of frys into two sets and the other batch will be place in another tank for rearing if the other batch died......u still have one left...=) good luck on ur breeding.....feel free to contact me whenever u want to ask question!

we put ours in a separate bowl - or tank -
till they grew up

remember - guppies sleep on the bottom - that's where the predators find them
