No, absolutely not wrong at all! I well up when I play Scarlet Ribbons by Sinead O'Connor, and also an older song by Tim Hardin called Hang On To A Dream. Another one (old one) is Stay With Me Baby by Lorraine Ellison - how she sings like that in a cold horrible recording studio astounds me.

'If you leave me now, you'll take away the very heart of me, oo oo no baby please don't go' - Chicago. The minute the music starts, up come the floods...(but isn't it funny, when you write down the words, how silly they sound without the music and if you don't know the song, it must be daft!) :) Oh yeah, and its definately not wrong for a male to well up over a song - don't men have feelings then? Why shouldn't they?

Ever since I saw the film The Killing Fields, Imagine by Lennon does it for me because at the end when song starts and the camera pans up to his mate has to be one of films iconic moments and chokes me up totally!

I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but the song about the little boy buying shoes at Christmas for his dying mom gets me really bad.

"Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. It reminds me of my mom who passed 14 years ago. Bette Midler sang this in a movie called "Beaches" and this was the last movie I saw with my mother. The song also describes the way I felt about her.
