I'm going to a 50's party soon, and my mom's making me wear a poodle skirt. I wouldn't mind, except she's turned down all of my ideas for strange appliques. Can anyone think of an applique that I can put on my skirt so that I'll stick out amongst a sea of poodle appliques? Thanks!

I do appreciate all of your answers, and they're great, it's just that I know all of these people, and they're going to have poodles, rhinestones, etc. But I was hoping for non-poodle suggestions... ;)

Put a rhinestone collar on the poodle. These weren't called poodle skirts because they had chickens on them.

When I made mine, I found an applique of a 45 record. I also used a kitty cat one.
