How do I get past this one part on The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess?

Okay. I'm near the beginning of the game where Ilia has the horse at the spring and Colin or whatever his name is there too. And the gate is closed. How do I get to the tunnel?

Go back toward the village and into the next clearing. In the north wall, there is a tunnel. To get in, walk near it and press A.

Check your map, you can see a small tunnel between the spring and links stupid little house.
