Well, I am bisexual and I KNOW FOR A FACT.

I look at guys and I want to have sex with them.
I look at girls and I want to have sex with them.

Well, whenever I tell my mom I have a crush on a guy she goes, "How do you know if you've never had sex?"

Well, "How did she know she liked guys and wanted to have sex with them before she had sex at my age?"

She also says, "Go out with this girl...she's nice." MOM! I HAVE A CRUSH ON A GUY!

Ugh, it bothers me becuase its like she doesn't want me to be me.

PS.
I have made out with girls.
Ive gotten more physical with guys (never kissed) and have never had intercourse.

It's tough being in your shoes. I think that your mom may agree with you haveing a bi-sexual side, but in a way she doesn't want you to be either. Thus, being why she kinda pushes for you to go out with a "girl" instead of a "guy" and seems to continue that direction. It's very possible to have a crush on a guy and never have had sex before. Physical attraction is very normal. It's the same for everyone no matter if your gay, bi, straight or otherwise. You don't have to "have sex" to have an attraction or crush on someone. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Well, I can understand both attractions; your gay side and your straight side. Maybe you shouldn't share this stuff with your mom. I believe in unconditional love between a parent and child but it is hard sometimes for parents to give good advice because of their own fears, prejudices, and life experiences.

If you are gay then seek some kindred souls of your own age for support, emotionally and for physical protection form thugs. Bisexuality is difficult at best because women tend to want a man all to themselves, and casual sex with guys can leave you feeling incomplete.

I have developed loving and intimate relationships with men. I have tried loving, committed relationship with women and failed miserably, but I guess I had to find out one way or the other. Long story short, I used to think of myself as Bi but now know that that is not me. I am gay.

This doesn't mean I don't appreciate women, nor that I don't have close friendships with women, I do. I love to look at a beautiful set of breast, girls can be down right sexy in their girly way. But, in the end, as one of your answerers so crudely stated, I like sexual relationships guys.

Good luck!

You know what your preference is because a relationship is an emotional AND physical connection.Bisexuality indicates a low preference for either gender. Heterosexuality and homosexuality indicate an emotional and physical preference for the same sex.
As for preferences, that has to do with brain chemistry. That would explain why a girl can have a crush on her first grade teacher during first grade... even though she didn't have sex!

Sounds to me like you're more interested in physical stuff with guys. If I were you, I'd ask myself what I'm more attracted to. As for your mother, parents will never really understand because it would require them thinking out-of-the-box.

She sounds like a mother who is desperately trying to hold on to the idea that her son is straight.
