Today, 3 Al-Queda suicide bombers driving trucks rigged with tanks of toxic chlorine gas struck in Baghdad, Iraq...

2 people died from the initial explosion, and more then 350 Iraqi civilians, along with 6 US troops, were exposed to the gas.

America has allowed this violance for TOO long!
"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last." ~ Winston Churchill
It's time to save the steak for our allies!

We have allowed them to not only grow in numbers, but our reluctance to put both hands around their necks has allowed them to network and develop chemical agents.

Its time, i believe, that we do something!

"Danger - if you meet it promptly and without flinching - you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!" ~ Winston Churchill

Unfortunately, now that we have doubled our danger, we need to double our charge and meet it promptly and without flinching. Or else, we will see the end.

Who thinks its about time we, as American Citizens, shape up to the world around us that we rather not think about?

I think its time Congress passed the military funding bill, and passed the troop increase (by 2-3x times its suggested number; we have them, why aren't we using them!? they are soldiers, not schoolgirls!!)..

Any1 else agree?

-your thoughts, please-

I agree and I have felt this way since USS Cole. 911 only alerted people on a mass scale.

It's like looking at a movie with all the dumb people not realizing we are at war and the plot thickens.

The comedians laugh at the president, Congress only cares about their special interests, the media falsely reports and movie stars put thier finger on their cheek and twist it.

Meantime, our extinction is being planned.

No. Not even sure if 3 "Al quaeda suicide bombers" were involved. After All they were blown up. So how are we sure it was Al Quaeda in the first plkace? Why not jahidists, militiamen. The US is too quick to place blame regarding these so-called "suicide bombers" For all we know US troops could well have spotted the truck and dropped a bomb on it. We're not even sure how many people died from it or of the number of civilians who were affected. Personally I think most of "Al Quaeda" has been long gone, dead or injured or no longer in Iraq.
The only danger is the danger we ourselves have created.

I no longer believe much of what our government NOR military tell us anymore...and since military troops are forbidden to tell us anything, we will likely never know the truth.

(btw. the US regularly transports chlorine gas by freight train. especially in S. Carolina. In fact people have been killed right here in the US as a result of leaks.)

I think we should get the heck out of there - that we shouldn't have gone there in the first place. That there were NO terrorists before we arrived and now the place is crawling with them. There was not a civil war before we went there. 150,00 more Iraqis were alive before we went there. Almost 3500 Americans were alive before we went there.

it's a truck tanker with chorine in it... if that's a WMD... WMDs drive by my house every day... the only difference would be a small explosive to set it off that anyone could build...

when people say "WMD" its usually weaponized gas/virus/nuclear material placed inside a projectile... not just a business grade tanker that is common place in every country in the world...

do you see the difference?

I completely disagree. It is relatively easy to make chlorine gas and this hardly increases the threat to the United States.

It is only further proof that the United States cannot bring stability to Iraq, and must withdraw and let others do the job.

A pull out followed by a few well placed thermonuclear devices works for me.
