I guess its not something that would come into the top 100 of things spilt on carpets, but its a great way to get back at someone you know for doing you a wrong.
Mustard and cress seeds in a carpet will destroy it completely because they get into the 'weave' and separate it, and you wont know a thing about it until about week later when they start to germinate after gathering enough moisture out the surrounding ambient air!
Believe me ladies and gentlemen, mustard and cress seeds are truely the worst thing you can spill on any carpet.!

In my experience, oil is the worst thing that I've ever spilled on my carpet. A large bottle tipped over in my pantry and leaked into the carpet. I spent hours with the steam vac and blot cloths to no avail. I still have a large brown stain that I have to cover with a rug.
Paint isn't as bad if you get to it quickly. I think bleach is a close second as it leaves ugly white spots and streaks.

Paint. In an apartment I had last year there was this paint stain about a foot and a half in diameter and I scrubbed it for hours before it came out. Fantastik worked pretty good though.
Wax is bad too. I had a friend knock over a lamp while it was on while he was sleeping on my couch and the bulb melted a candle all over the table, lampshade, and dripped onto the carpet. I didn't even try to get it up since it was in a corner.

Big Red or some other red liquid. My brother's friend spilled one of these drinks on our carpet and then moved furniture over it instead of telling someone or cleaning it up. By the time we found it, we had it professionally cleaned, but it didn't come out.

i do no longer think of you're asking the main superb question. the main superb question is: does the government rather care approximately environmental protections or is environmentalism generally a handy excuse the government makes use of to desire specific opposition and bully others out of business enterprise? i think of this is the latter and why a loose marketplace calls for that government supply up choosing winners and losers. while the government makes a regulation like this, all it does is centralize stupidity.

About twenty years ago I was on leave and I went to visit my old mum. She went to bed early, I went for a couple of sociable ones! On the way back, picked up a King Prawn Vindaloo, believe me,ten years later I'm sure I could see it when I had to clear out mum's house. She never said anything God rest her soul.

I bought some cute accessories for my bathroom. They were clear plastic with blue "water" and had rubber duckies. The waste paper container cracked and got blue dye on my hallway rug. I could not get the dye out.
