I know most black people don't want white people using "the N word," but how about "the W word?" Is that just as bad?

Male1905, thanks for the love.
The reason I asked is because I think the word is disrespectful to Blacks and wondered what black people think about it.

I call a person only by their name and expect others to do the same for me.

I'm black and no I don't really care to much about the word whigger it just depends on how its used. The word whigger can be used as a racial slur or just as common talk. We always call my cousin a whigger when she has her braids in because she is so light skined she could be mistaken as a white girl.

Okay, I jus wanna inform ya'll nobody for real use "whigger". It was somethin the media came up with to describe white people who "acted black". I dont object to it because it doesnt have the same effect as the n word.

I think its a disrespectful term to everyone bc you are basically implying that a person is acting like a black person by calling them a wigger. Its a ridiculous concept to think a person can act a certain, race, religion, or ethnicity. You are who you are, and where you are raised and how you are raised is going to reflect who you are inside, not your race. Not all black ppl act the same, not all whites act the same, not all asian act the same, etc. Its disrespectul to just plain imply that someone is acting like anything besides themselves (when it comes to race).

I don't like it.

1. I don't like the sound of it.
2. It implies there is something wrong with aa White person who doesn't hold something negative against Blacks.
3. It's indirectly offensive to Blacks. It's mostly applied young White kids who "act black". As if all Blacks act a certain way.

first you have to understand it may shock most people but if you trace back to the tree of knowledge, you would see that we are all minorities unless you keep it all in the family, for instance when Noah took his three son, guess what they were, minorities, check it out... true fact..and the ones who try to pass light bright they call you sand... i think its all back to that its still stereo typing and it isn't in the dictionary , or lets just say that i wouldn't want to be called aw...that can be taken on to many levels ....right?!.

In my opinion it is. I dislike all racial slurs. Oh, and I don't want anyone using the n word. I don't care what race they are, and I hate that there blacks who use it for each other.
