You and your kind are hopeless. Let me explain.

I knew an old woman who lived in Germany from 1922 to 1950. From before Hitler took power, until he was dead and gone and Germany struggled to recover from his regime. She liked Hitler and said more than once "everyone was crazy about Hitler."

Do you see the problem with saying "this politican is looking after us" and turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the really bad things they do? That, my friend, is definitely not in the best interests of this country of ours.

You obviously don't know what a Fascist is. You would not want him to be a Fascist. By the way the only Americans he looks out for are Millionaires, Billionaires, and especialy those in the Oil business and businesses that support oil.

He may not be a Fascist but much of what he does and how he does it would make a Fascist proud.

HA! Looking out for the well being of Americans? By this surely you mean the "wealthy" Americans and cooperations. The man is clearly burned out, sleep deprived, crazy from everything...in a way I feel bad for him. Can't be easy running a country no matter which place it is.

Fascist: Someone who believes that there is a certain way everyone must be, look, and whatnot to be a part of the society here's the ironic thing...the patriot act in his eyes is a way of protecting the American people, as most patriotic dictators do. So donno, it's kinda a crappy answer but I enjoy giving my opinion nevertheless :D

I don't know about being a fascist..but the statment that he is looking out for the well being of the American people is laughable...poverty is at a over 30 yr high now, there are now more uninsured children than ever, we saw how "compasionate" he is with the whole katrina disaster, and now with the VA stories coming to light...yes he is looking for the well being of all of us.

There is a possibility that he is. His grandfather, Prescott Bush, supported Adolph Hitler, who was one. Fascism is a philosophy in which there is an absolute dictator of a country. The problem with that, for George, is that he only has two years left. He is going to be a short lived Fascist.

a fascist is someone who values 'the good old days' (which didn't really exist), believes in the union of state and corporate power, promotes militarism, promotes a de facto state religion, and has no regard for civil rights. All of these criteria meet Bush's behavior.

If you think having a president who has declared for himself the right to disappear any of us at any time - i hope you know about this, citizen - to spy on our email and phone calls with neither warrant nor emergency authorization, and to have free speech zones is okay, I have to assume you grew up in the soviet union and are longing for your own version of the 'good old days.'

Bush is a fascist and he is destroying our civil liberties, draining our treasury, and killing and torturing to death (according to our own military) people for the profit of his friends. If you can remember back far enough, he declined to do anything about his good friend Kenny Boy at Enron, as he ripped off Californians for trillions of dollars during their illegal energy scam. If you can remember all the way back to Katrina, the president put a man who ran horseshows in charge of our nation's emergency response system.

In what way exactly is he good for us?

How does this help our well being, exactly?

Well being of Americans, by sending them to an absolutely idiotic war? Think about what you just said, and then go look at the statistics on death from the war in Iraq.

Destorying the bill of rights, destorying our sovereignty with the North American Union and NAFTA Superhighway, bringing torture to America, deindustrializing our jobs and outsourcing, bring us into tens of trillions in debt, leaving the border wide open, pushing for amnesty for 36 million illegal aliens, and he's looking after our interests??
