I wouldn't let ONE person on the planet destroy my day (hell, two ex-wives couldn't destroy any given day). No single person is worth letting have that kind of emotional control over you. Nobody!

Yes, at work, there is a biatch who is under me but likes to try bossing me (and not just me) around cuz she obviously has adhd and is a nosy and just an all around annoying person. She's been there longer than me so at first it was helpful her telling me what to do, but after some months, I am going to have to give her an attitude adjustment. I am dealing with it by constantly watching for these little moments and then showing my athority by raising my voice a little, or ignoring her commands. Hopefully she will get the picture and soon understand she doesn't intimidate me, but if not there will be an inicident. Yah, that ruined my day.

Oh yeah, sure have, time is the best cure grumble grumble grrr...
Best thing is to just let it go, slow and easy, sleep helps (if you can), so does some kind of a distraction like TV or music or a book and get into doing something else (I'm doing this answers thing to get off of my steam kettle, but if it's not distracting then it's not working so find something else before you let it out on someone lol).
And, good luck.

Sure. My manager wrote me a degrading letter because I quit a while ago. You know I was thinking that B****. But that just brings my blood pressure up and makes me stress.
So I called her and left her a message on her phone basically saying that she should have a blessed day (seriously). Then I thought about it and was proud of myself for not stooping to her level. I bickered about to my friend for a few more minutes and realized that buttcracks will be buttcracks for all the low reasons, and I will remain the head and stay cool. (If you know what I mean!)
It is not worth it to stay mad it won't change anything and you will just end up harming yourself no matter how good it feels!!
LET IT GO! They are most likely not thinking about you!
Do it for your own character's sake!

Yes and I think for the most part if you let someone destroy your entire day then YOU are at blame. You cannot change someone or how they are going to act but what you can change is your reaction to it. Some are better at letting things roll off and others seethe about it for days (as if that will help anything).
The bottom line is that we are all humans and sometimes other humans are going to ruin our day with their bad behavior.

The only person who can destroy your day is you.
If you let someone else destroy you then you are not yet the owner of your life.
Its a whole nuther level of living. Get there!

the cashier got me really really livid today, I asked if she needed coupon items seperate;she said no but when it was time to deduct everything she wanted me to help her unbag all the groceries she in fact did need! Next week for spite I'm getting in her line and handing her an item/coupon paying and bagging after each! I guarantee she will never pull that again!

Yes I have, unfortunately. I am still working on NOT letting someone ruin my day. It is my choice if I am going to let them do it or not. It is only one day but it is a day lost.

I don't let it bother me. They are below me, a mere jerk.
Seriously, it's mind over matter, a positive attitude.
