Hi Louisa,
Depending on your program they could be anywhere.
Search for one of the files. Then you will find where your program is putting them.
Go to Start, Search, Files & Folders, All Files & Folders
Alternately you could check the program you used to download usually in Tools or Options to find the download folder.

It's probably on your shared documents or at Winrar...try searching the name of the file on the
Start menu > then click Search > All files and folders > and type what ever file it is > then press back to stop the search > then change whether the file is hidden or not > and if u want u can specify it more. hope this works

This extensive tutorial should explain how to " unzip" a zip file. I read some of it further down the page & it told how to unzip a file that they showed us how to zip earlier. It also said that windows has a way of " hiding" everything after the " dot" in the files you are looking for. Anyway here is that link & GOOD LUCK !!

Sometimes it makes no difference where you say you want your downloads to go. Check for the standard places like "My Music, Downloads, Desktop, Pictures etc."
