ok, so I like this guy, and we are like really, really good friends, and he always used to be really flirtatious, and after a while, we still talked, but he now seems more shy, like he knows i like him. But he's still really nice and funny.
My friend thinks he likes me now, and is more nervous to talk to me, but i think the opposite.
and i have asked him if he liked me like 4 times already, and every time he's said no. But thats probably because i lied to him when he asked me. I don't know what to think anymore, please help.

If he seems more shy now he probably does like you. He may not know how he feels about that and is feeling a little weird about that. Men and boys of all ages act this way. Especially if he knows you like him he may be trying to play it off. If you like him ask him out if you are both of age to do so.

It can be really scary and really hard, but honesty really is the best policy. You could tell him you noticed he's been acting differently lately and you wonder if you've done something to hurt him. DON'T ask him if he likes you: either he really doesn't or he just isn't ready to come out with it and pestering him will push him further away. Sometimes guys (especially younger ones) don't really know or understand WHAT they are feeling or how to talk about it: sometimes they're just scared to death of what they're feeling, especially if it's really strong. If you genuinely like the person he is, stick with being his friend. If and when he's ready, he'll be able to tell you because he can trust the good friend that you are.
