I had my first child via emergency c section in 2005. I was wondering if it is normal to feel slight pain around your incision scar if you are pregant with your second child. Is this possible?

You might want to ask your dr. I have 4 children and 2 of them were csections and I have never had that happen.

I too had my first child via emergancy c section. During this pregnancy (my second one) I had pains from very early on. It felt like a tugging on ligaments coming from the inside. The doctor said it's normal and so far so good. You should just run it by your doctor on Monday just in case.
Good Luck!

Yes, it is normal. I had a c-sec. in feb. 2005 and had the same feeling when I was preg. with #2.

you definitely want to get that checked. sometimes, very rarely though, the uterus will tear along the incision, and it could cause death to the baby, and/or yourself. I'm sure you have absolutely nothing to worry about. but it's possible.
