Someone told me, to my amazement, that it is actually legal to have sex in front your children. Is this true? Her daughter is 10 and she has sex in front of her all the time (not intentionally, just doesnt bother to hide) and says she doesnt feel the need to hide. Is it really legal?

Kids walk in on parents all the time, so it would be tough to prove the sex the kids saw wasn't an "oops"...but if kids can't legally watch porn or have sex, then I'd think it wouldn't be kosher that parents were having sex without regard to whether or not the kids might see.
Of course, in ancient times it was probably common, especially if people lived in one-room huts/lodges and such but we've moved beyond that and also don't marry our kids off when they hit puberty anymore either.

i dont think it would be that is sick on so many levels. that child will probably be scarred for life and end up having sex at a young age when she shouldnt. i would suggest to ur friend that they do that in the bedroom where it is normally done away from the children.

That's just BEGGING for your child to become sexually active at an inappropriate age. Children mimic their parents, and if she sees hers having sex all the time then she's going to want to try it soon too. This woman needs to stop right away.

I don't know if its against the law, but it sounds like the mom needs to be locked up somewhere. If she doesn't have any more respect for her children than that, they maybe Child Protective Services should be given a call.

That's disgusting. Even if it is legal, that woman and her husband shouldn't be doing that anyway. Her daughter shouldn't be exposed to sex at such a young age.

umm if it IS legal, people still shouldn't do it. that sounds like it could seriously scar the child and cause emotional harm! it's disgusting.

that is a form of child sexual abuse. you should call your local child protection agency. she can have long term emotional damage due to seeing any sexual activity...and this could have gone on as she was younger.
