I'm having a serious problem in trusting people
around me..

Especially my mates at chollege..
I sometimes just loose my trust in them directly when I see
them do wrong things and pretend that they know everything and I don't know nothing or at least not as much as they know..
or when I see them do stupid things and pretend to be geniuses while I'm just an idiot..
So I sometimes just feel disgusted of them and leave them without telling them my real thoughts of them..I might smile to them when I see them but on the other side,I just wish I can stab them...

Note:They might not say that or show you that directly but you can find that from the way they talk or act around you.

And this issue is costing me to walk all around the campus of my university alone without any friends. Although I love loneliness, but still, too much of it is much like suicide.

What should I do...??

don't worry, my friend, there are people out there that are worthy of your trust. It just might take some time to find them, b'cas they are few and far inbetween. most people cannot be trusted. but once you find just one trustworthy person, it becomes easier and easier to find them. you don't need to feel like an idiot.. you need to find a crowd that you can relate in a positive way with. Best of luck!

If someone has really hurt you you should slowly but still cautiously try to start trusting people again.
If the people you are around are reall y bad then find a new set of friends. By simply starting a conversation with someone on campus you may not know, greeting someone before they greet you, going somewhere you like to hang out and finding someone that interest you without being shy and just talk and be pleasant. Everthingelse will flow.

Your expectations of others is too high. Your expectations of yourself is too high. Your critical analysis of the actions of others is to sharp. You are probably responsible for 96.83% of all the issues you are experiencing. Its called "Undue expectations" and you can definitely fix it - without changing anyone else except you. (Changing other people is a lost cause)

Relax. Those other people are humans. They have their own interests which will frequently not be yours; their own different priorities. Once you start to see others as the interesting and different people that they are, your expectations will be lower and your satisfaction with them commensurately higher.

Learn a few defensive phrases. Read the Gentle Art of Verbal Self Defense. You will never look back.

I have the same problem, I find myself with few friends who say as they do vs. smile in your face while they backstab you, I just don't think those kind of people truly care so I let them go, if they're that shallow and insensitive.

It is a hard choice, but while it appears that in this world we always compromise on one end to get to the other, there are some things I just can not do. So, the choice is loneliness.

It is a sick world, thou, it never ceases to amaze me.
Perhaps we ought to become penpals.
