Thongs are very sexy but wipe really really well when wearing them and obviously don't wear while on your period and (as mentioned by someone else) do not let it hang out.

Fact is, strippers were wearing thongs long before it took off with the general female population. Strippers are meant to look slutty so I guess there is an element of truth to that. Some women wear them because they are considered risque, and others wear them for the supposed comfort factor and that it hides the panty line. Personally I don't like them. I don't like how they look or feel on. The regular cotton type are especially nasty, they just look so ugly. There are so much nicer underwear out there. For teenagers, little boy shorts are very popular at the moment, and comfortable too. You can get cute underwear with cute designs, it doesn't have to be a thong to be 'in'. Thongs are not that big anymore I don't reckon, the fad has died down a lot.

Thongs are not gross if you keep yourself clean. And they are only as slutty as the girl who is wearing them. As said above, keep them hidden under your clothes, as with any panties, and you will be fine. I find them very comfortable and I forget I have them on.

Thongs are defiently not gross...they are just a way for girls to not show a panty line...it is when girls wear low cut jeans with thongs and don't keep them pulled up it gets slutty...when girls show their thongs they are asking for you to get in their pants

Absolutely not. They're a piece of clothing. Im a underage guy, and have been wearing thongs for about a year now - they are much more comfortable than other types of underwear.

no they are totally not gross. they are comfortable well only if it's 100% cotton. i started wearing them since i was 12, all though I'm 13. lol i have no problem with them. i don't think they are slutty either cause the only reason i wear them is because i wear sweat pants like everyday and i hate when my pantie-line shows so i that's y i wear thongs. it's not being slutty at all it is for comfort not to get guys attention......yeah && that dude is right u shouldn't judge people on the underwear they chose to wear......

Ewww gross!! Thongs creep me out. I mean seriously, who thought of making thongs? Hmmm, instead of underwear today, I think I'll put a string up my butt instead lol. Yeah, I don't really get the point of it, but whatever. Some girls think they look hott, but this one girl in my class had hers hiked up so everyone could see and these guys were making fun of her the whole class. I guess they are a little slutty but I personally think they just look plain stupid.

not at all. i wear one every day. its a great way to avoid visible panty lines and they are only slutty if you show them to everyone.
