I have issues with my nose, it's extremely large. When I see my profile, I wanna cry. Don't try to tell me it's probably fine, it's the kind that I used to walk down the hallway in school and complete strangers would comment on it. Today I was driving down the road and the woman in the car next to me looked at me and pointed. She said something to her kids in the backseat and they all started staring at me. It's such a horrible feeling. And the sad thing is, I'm pretty attractive except for my nose. I'm thin, long blonde hair, and I look fine from the front. People are always encouraging me to model. But from the side, my nose sticks out a mile from my face. I've dealt with this for many years and it hurts so much when complete strangers make these comments. How do I get past this? I know I shouldn't care, but how do you do that?

I have considered surgery, but I don't have the money and don't see myself having it anytime soon. Also, I'm very scared it might not turn out well. I mean my nose is ugly now, but at least it's free.

People are so good at hurting eachother's feelings. When you feel very badly about your nose, think of all the things that are beautiful about you. These are yours alone and nobody else gats to claim them. THAT is what makes you you and that is what makes you lucky and that is what makes up for having a less-than-perfect nose.

You may want to discuss this with your doctor. They are professionals who can help you sort out your feelings about your nose. If it is hurting you this much, maybe you should consider a consultation for reduction of your nose. It can give you more confidence, you can begin to trust people again, and you won't have to spend years in therapy figuring out ways to compensate for cruel treatment even from strangers. Best of luck to you!!

Cosmetic surgery is an option. Please do some research on this because you sound like you're a really pretty girl. I would hate to see you undergo cosmetic surgery, only to be displeased from the results. Also remember, if you decide to have surgery, surgery can alter your original appearance. So you might go from looking pretty to weird looking? If that makes sense? At any rate, whatever route you decide, I wish you the best. Smooches. :)

Well firstly.........the angels pick out your nose........and each person is different..........Don't let people's hateful comments deter you in any way...........it does hurt..........but move on....at the end of the day if you are still really unhappy about your nose...............and this decision muzt not be because people are saying so, there is also surgery.............but that is a last resort.........good luck and chin up..............

If people are shallow enough to hate you because of your nose, why would you even want to care??
