First the government would have to tell us there opinion of what it considers winning the terror war including Iraq. Since they let the media pipe all types of ideas into our minds to confuse us. To government in the case of the Iraq theater is just a part of the war and it was a place to place troops to keep Iran in check. Imagine had Iran invaded Iraq, it would have posed a treat to Israel, by being even closer and and the U.S. by having more control of the oil and dominance in the middle east. But like I said the media and the government allows us to draw our on conclusions on the issue. Remember its a terror war and we could be invading any country at anytime and without warning.

Iran funds Hamas and Hezbollah and Lebanon and Syria and the Iraqi "insurgents". They do not fund the Iraqi people proper.

we are screwed at this point.
iran is trying to stop their type of people (I think shia) from being killed or dying from bad conditions.
saudia arabia is helping the 'insurgents' fighting us.
-another conflict of interest

(the kruds want a kurdistan, we won't let them be independent even after they pledged their loyalty to us)
