I stopped watching for a long time and I'm not quite sure what happened that made Clark and Lex become enemies.
I know Lex married Lana, but what happened prior, because I know the Clark and Lex were friends at one point?

Clark found out that Lex was still investigating him and doing crooked things after he said that he had stopped. They were still somewhat civil but it just finally got to the point where they were both openly hating each other.

Clark finally found out the lex was testing him all this time and trying to get evidence on thev fact that clark was a metour freak unknowest to him that clark infact is not of this planet
