"Please insert a disc into drive E" - What does this mean?

I am trying to load music onto my Razr V3xx for the first time and I am getting this message when I click on the "Removable Disc" in My Computer. As far as I know I've done everything they told me to do in the manual. Any ideas?

Drive E usually refers to a USB port.
It sounds as if the PC is expecting to see a "memory stick".

I am no expert, but make sure your "usb" cable is secure in its socket. You may need to reboot to let the system recognize the new hardware. I know this can be frustrating, I went through it with my wifes ipod.
