In this movie, Jennifer told Matthew AcCnaughey " You are on top of me, cutting off my air supply" What dose " cutting off my air supply"... Please explain this meaning.
I am not American, so it is difficult to understand.

It just means she can't breathe. If something heavy is on your stomach than you can't really breathe well so it is cutting off your way of getting air to breathe
