If Insurgents lay their weopons down then US and allies would view it as a truce, but they (the insurgents) keep aggravating the condition.

If USA invaded their counrty then why did THEY invade the USA by killing thousands at the twin towers and other sites???

Good one,, Yes the insurgents would fight back because they (insurgents) are fighting for power. The United States tipped the delicate imbalance between the Shiites and the Sunnis. Each group knows that the US will not stay in Iraq for long so they basically using violence to terrorize each other. Saddam Husseim was a Sunni and he repressed the Shia religion and culture and now they want to dominate the political scene now that he is gone. I hope this helps

Then why are the insurgents killing more of THEIR countrymen than OUR countrymen. Could it be they are looking to destabilize the democracy movement in Iraq and create their own dictatorship.

because the US invaded there country no country wants a bully country like the US to tell it what government it can choose.
