Recently me and my brother moved to a little city in Utah named Logan. We are from Dallas TX. Our my died a year, and soon after I realized that Dallas wasn't the place for us. Dallas isn't a bad place at all, it's filled with many great things to do, but the area we lived in was very hard place to survive. I recently found out that my brother who was only 14 was getting into some heavy trouble. Gangs, drugs, and many different things. I reasoned that we needed to get out of dallas and head for the hills (Utah). we've onlybeen here a few days, but it seems as if I have seen a complete change in him. He even wants to get back into boys scouts and band. I wonder if a change of scenery can be a solution to more of our youths problems?

Yes changing a persons eviroment can change their lives because peer pressure is a real big thing, like for example if someone was always around smoking eventually peer pressure would come, and that person would be tempted to try it, and i think a change of scenery could change your youth problems. It was a pleasure answering your question.

Not only does the environment change the outcome of ones life, but society as a whole shapes an individual's perception to fit within its stereotype. Many stereotypes about a certain kind of people of a particular race could limit their outcome, which might have been a success, but as a result it turns out as a failure. The environment also plays a role in determining the outcome of an individual, it could be good and many of the times not so good, for example, a neighborhood known for many illegal crimes can turn an individual into a criminal not because of its reputation but because of the people one interacts with. And for every kind of interaction there must be a mechanism of survival, in this case committing crimes is the way out.
