Where is the best place nationaly or globally to adopt a child even though I am a single and not looking to be in a relationship any time soon? I believe children need to be loved no matter if I am married or single.

You shouldn't be adopting. Children need a mother and a father. Thats why it takes both to make a child. I understand your desire for children. But it would be selfish to take on the responsibility of parenting without a spouse to support you. Your children will spend half their time in daycare, and won't receive the time they need from you. I advise you be patient and wait until you meet and marry someone who can support you in being a parent.

Do you have $15,000-$20,000? That is about how much it will cost. And then there's lawyer's fees...
Its nice that you want to do that, but you should check into your state foster program. They usually have kids who are waiting to be adopted.

why not in AMERICA... we have alot of our own kids in our country that need loving homes and parent/parents.. Just because the movie stars find it sheik to adopt from 3rd world countries does not mean that we have our own kids in dire need here.
