No way, man. They've got David Wright, what are the Mets gonna do with him? Play him on second base? Willie and Omar said that David is best suited at third base and they like him there. And haven't you heard all the talks A-Rod made about Lou Piniella? It's more likely (if A-Rod exercise his right to opt out from the Yankees after the '07 season) for him to play for the Cubs. Plus, he said that he still wants to play in pinstripes, anyway.

Question is why would the METS want him???? This guy is completely overrated. He has no winning edge. He proved he cannot handle playing in NY. From all accounts he is a terrible teammate and distraction. He hits alot of solo homers but cannot get it done in the clutch.
1. Albert Pujols
2. Grady Sizemore
3. Derek Jeter
4. Travis Hafner
5. Mark Texiera
6. Joe Mauer
I will take any of the folllowing list of players over Arod any single day of the week--and I beat you more times then you beat me.

NO WAY IN HELL, the Mets have a third basemen, and A-Rod is older, and cannot take pressure in NY. Also He wants to be with Lou Pinella in Chicago, he'll most likely go there.

NO WAY!!! A-Rod is being chased out of New York not just out of the pin stripes. He's going to the Cubs most likely, because it seems like he wants to play for Piniella

I can see Arod going to the Chicago Cubs where he would be back playing his normal position at short,be reunited with his first major league manager and we all know from this past off season that the Cubs will spend the money to bring a World series championship to the Cubs fans

No way in hell. We already have an excellent 3rd Baseman, and just signed Wright to like 7 years last year. The left side of the infield isn't going anywhere for a while. Plus ARod has proved he can't handle the pressure of playing in New York. That won't change if he moved across town.

If the Yankees haven't won the Series since he joined the team, and they won 4 times before, would he be that great of an acquisition for the money he'd be asking for? I don't think so.
