James Dean. He is the epitome of teenage rebellion, or at least that’s what he played in movies, and he played it well. Its depressing that he died so early, we didn't get to see HOW GREAT he really was. But I've seen "East of Eden" and "Rebel Without a Cause" and he was excellent. He deserves an Oscar for both of those performances, and i have NOT seen any other performances like his. He is a legend who died before his time.

Rex Harrison deserved an Oscar for his performance in 'The Agony and the Ectasy,' a film in which he wiped the floor with Carlton Heston and dominated a scene with only one eye, simply standing behidn a curtain, angry, he coveyed an entire range of feeling - - - Rex was way better as an actor than many of his films...

I'd have to agree with Marylin Monroe,as she never got an oscar in all the time she was doing films,my favourite film of her's is "some like it hot".she was so beautiful,and talented,and people took advantage of her.Clarke gable ,Alfred Hitchcock, they also didn't receive an oscar either.
