I am eating lemon Italian ice right now, and it is hard to even eat that. My question is when can I start eating regular food again? What other things besides Italian ice and slushys can I eat for the next few days? Any tips about how else to keep the swelling down? Thanks!

Nicole, I got my tongue pierced about 5 years ago. I had a lot of swelling with mine. I sucked on ice a lot, and managed to slurp down chicken noodle soup, or broth. I didn't have my first meal until day 7. Seriously, I couldn't eat solid food for a week, then it was tender, my first attempt was chinese food. Try ibuprofen for the swelling.

purchase lots and far of gentle meals to devour for the subsequent week+! Your tongue is going to damage like hell. And devour a huge meal formerly you flow, because it is going to likely be the most suitable for awhile. do no longer purchase the small Listerine bottle, you fairly do favor the tremendous and use it oftentimes in the course of the day. It hurts undesirable sufficient even as each thing is going proper, i visit't imagine what an infection should be like! i doesn't smoke something for awhile. Like I suggested an infection ought to suck. I were given mine pierced in eighth grade (8-9 years in the past) and if my father and mom ought to've enable me i'd have stayed living house from college i replaced into in a lot soreness for some lately! They were strict even if, I did it to myself. i do not placed on mine anymore because i'm a nurse and they don't seem specialist yet I did get excitement from having it at the moment. I wasn't ever a "punk" and that is no longer the seem i wanted, i replaced into in simple terms in touch with it! in simple terms get a undeniable old barbell for now with a ball on each end and seem on ebay for more advantageous once you're waiting to regulate it out. strong success and that i wish it doesn't damage too undesirable!
