I picked it up at the airport, got home, went through it and added some skittles and tootsie rolls and now I"m heading back with it to the airport to return it. If you ever run across a red samsonite with a silver angel keychain dangling from the handle strap return it to the airport because mine has been missing for almost 2 years now.

It's either being torn apart by dishonest baggage handlers who are looting it for all your neat stuff....or....it's on it's way to the Reykjavik International Airport (about the size of half a shoe box) because some ding dong put the wrong routing ticket on it.
If it's the latter you can go to the airline and get a per diem credit to cover necessities like toiletries, undies and possibly pajamas -- until they deliver your luggage to your door.

your luggage was abducted by aliens and taken to the planet certanea where they will be inspecting it for bombs. don't worry this is standard airport regulations.
