It wouldn't be better for those of us (the majority, I believe) who are not attracted to the same sex.

No, the world would cease to exist (or at least the human population) that way. And not all (or even most) people are gay, lesbian or bi-sexual. I have never been attracted to a woman, I am not homophobic or anything, they simply do not have the right equipment so to speak. There are lots of marriages that don't end in divorce and many men and women really do understand each other. I think expecting everyone to date only their same sex is just as wrong as expecting that everyone will only date the opposite sex...people will date who they are attracted to.

I find your question fascinating. Although it's clear that men and women do have a great deal of compatibility with their own gender, when it comes to matter of the heart and groin it's the difference, the mystery and the unknown aspect that's the big attraction for me. I suspect that this may be the case for straight people in general.
If I assume (and it may be quite an assumption) that your question expresses your own preference, then it seems to me that you've put your finger on the essential difference between gay and straight attraction. For the one it's the familiar; for the other, the unknown. Intellectually I think I can understand attraction to the known, but I don't *feel* it.

Umm... If everyone did that, you wouldn't be here. Men and Women were made different to complement each other. It is only recently through several liberal/feminine agendas that men have been told they need to "get in touch with their feminine side", and women told they need to "be stronger". IMO this has led to gender confusion and a break down of traditional roles, which were once complementary and therefore worked well together.

In theory it would probably be a good idea or concept. But whether it actually would work? It would be interesting to try out though! Personally i do think it would be a good idea!
In today's society opposite sex relationships are normal, and oppsite sex relationships are considered slightly different, although accepted, but if you think about it, 'opposite' people dating is weirder than 'similar' or 'same-sex' dating. Strange eh? :)

i think of that a guy or woman is the two born gay or is born immediately, and that maximum medical info may help this assertion. whilst in usa 0.5 of marriages lead to divorce, 2nd marriages have a lots greater cost of fulfillment. to boot, marriages in different international locations have lots decrease expenses of divorce, generally via expectancies (romantic love and marriage do no longer connect in different international locations like they do in usa). some guy or woman who's gay must be trustworthy with themselves and others, and it may take time for some people to settle for that, yet that does no longer mean that maximum everybody is gay, as much as Jack MacFarland might think of so.

What? That's your answer to the "Battle of the Sexes"? Both sides should just surrender? Where's the fun in that?

Better? I don't know. But it would end the human race fairly quickly. I do know that. I'd also never date again.
