Its no secret that most marriages these days end in divorce. Its also no secret that more and more women are becoming bi-sexuel and Lesbian these days. On the flip side more and more men are coming out as gay and many others are still in the closet afraid of revealing their true feelings. So don't you think relationships between men and women just may not be meant for each other?

Lets be honest men and women don't understand each other and don't know what the other really wants. A person of the same sex would probably know better what you want and need.

So don't you think we would be better off just dating the same sex?

Uh, do you wish for the replenishment of all human beings to end? If men and women weren't meant to be together, then why do men and women carry the equipment necessary to make babies?

If we all dated our own sex, where would kids come from? The sky?

Goodness this has got to be one of the weirdest questions I've seen in my life! Aren't the reasons obvious to you? Unless you want the human race to die out.

How would you continue to have life on this planet if we all dated the same sex? I have nothing against gay people at all. But if you know a way where people can still have babies being with the same sex then I'd find that interesting, LOL.

And as far as women and men not understanding each other, please! I know plenty of lesbians in relationships who don't understand each other. Heterosexuals were put on this earth TO be together. Believe me we know how to fit with each other. There have been just as many terrible gay relationships as straight ones. Probably more due to what they have to face. This question was uh...different and STRANGE! But very interesting.

If that is the new way of the world then let me be single because there's not a darn thing another woman can do for me!

Good luck to you!

That's an interesting question, actually. I strongly disagree with your conclusion, but it is an interesting question. The answer from any kind of natural design aspect is clearly "no." Men were not designed to be with other men, and women with women - I don't mean that from a Biblical point of view, just simple structure. Men and women were clearly designed to "fit" together.

This is obvious from the physical point of view, but think about it from the psychological point of view also. We are always more comfortable with people of our own kind. Most whites, for example, are most comfortable being around other whites. Similarly, men are most comfortable being around other men.

However, comfort level is not always the proper criterion. We fight against segregation - it is best if we are around all kinds of people. Their points of view and backgrounds "complete" us in a sense. Similarly, men and women might be said to "complete" each other in the same way. Men learn from women and vice versa; women help keep men from the worst tendencies in our sex, and we help women the same way.

So, interesting idea, but the answer on a physical and psychological (as well as the obvious Biblical) points of view is "no."
