Pacifiers as you very well may know are an endangered species. Once they reach maturity, they sneak out of the house and into the wild (where they were once hunted by poachers almost to extinction).
They go out into the wild in search of other pacifiers and then they travel to the ocean where they jump in like lemmings. No one knows why they do this, but scientists have been trying to capture and sedate the creatures in hopes of studying their DNA and to see if there is a similiarity between them and lemmings.

Funny!!! As when I was working in child care; this little boy had about 15 pacifiers & when I was looking for one.... I couldn't find one!!!
Later, I found them in the sofa, chairs, & under the car seat!!!

My mom told my little brother that the dog ate it, so he wouldn't take it to preschool with him. So, maybe all of the pacifiers are eaten by dogs.

i seems the care bears in my baby's crib are always hiding em! either that or her blanket ate it.

I would LOVE to know the answer to this question! My daughter has the amazing ability to hide them. You would think there were only so many places they can go, but I can never find them! One day when we move, I'm going to find my daughter's stash somewhere!

Those little leprechauns take them so they can lure the babies to them later when mommies aren't watching... If you look really closely under your babies crib, you will find evidence of those little irish buggers... socks, they look just like your babies socks, but they really fit the lerechauns.
