If your doctor removed your stitches after only 3 days of a major surgury..he's whats known as a quack!.see another doctor PLEASE
You can have more than 1 c-section..my 2 children were born that way.....if you can get the bikini cut...thats the way to go aestically speaking.....
My wife had the verticle cut and during the 2nd delivery the surgeon cut to one side of the previous scar then removed the scar tissue and the result was one scar the same size as the 1st or smaller.
Because of the uterine scarring you will need to be monitored a little closer for tearing, bleeding... but it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck
P.S. if it's optional then go with the natural way..it's safer. Someone brought up the sexual aspect of natural childbirth ...one word...kiegel......

I have had 2 natural births. I would always prefer to have natural. C-sections put you at a high risk for a uterine rupture if you were to try to have a VBAC (vaginal birth afte cesarean). The recovery is longer for c- sec, more probems with intestines and regaining ablity to pass bowels movements or gas after it, higher risk. Advantages are that it is scheduled. Natural has the fact that you may need stitches but recovery is much better and faster and you wont have to worry about a nasty infection like you would with a c-sec. I mean you do have the chance of uterine infection with natural but it is easily treated with antibiotics. Theres no puss cming from an OPEN wound!! Usually people that have a c-sec the first time will have repeats with subsequent births. Hope that helps! Natural all the way for me!

In most situations a vaginal labor is safer for both mom and baby than a c-section, especially a repeat elective c-section.
Just like you said about your recovery- with c-sections, infections are more common, babies have more issues with breathing and nursing, and the risk increases for your develop placenta acretia with every repeat c-section. Placenta acretia is where the placenta grows into your uterus, or even beyond. This can cause hemmorage, the loss of your uterus and possible death for both mom and baby.
VBAC or a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean is something that is an option for you, and perhaps the safer choice as well. Talk to your dr about your options regarding VBAC and if he rules any extraneous risks, you will be able to have your baby vaginally. Some dr's and hospitals don't "allow" women to VBAC- which is illegal and unethical.
Here are some places you can go to find more information:

This site has great info on VBAC

Good luck

I had a natural birth. Natural is better than a C section. With the c section you still hurt after the baby is born for a couple weeks. But natural most of the pain is over. and yes it is possibly to have more than on c section

I have had 2 csections, 1 VBack (vaginal after csection), and 2 vaginal. I would choose vaginal anyday! You really need to talk with your doctor about the complications from Vback if you are thinking of trying it. I got lucky with mine and everything went smooth. For my last baby though, my doctor did not want to risk it because of his size and you are more likely to have your uterus rupture after you have had a section. Vaginal is so much easier to recover from!! I know that there are a lot of people that have only had c sections that swear by them, but I prefer not to have major surgery and have to recover from it. I was miserable from my last section. I would say that the pro of a section would be that you don't always have to be in labor, but some people still have labor then end up having a section. I hope that I answered some of your questions and yes, it is possible to have more than one section!

i had my daughter natural, i loved it, it took some work but just the sentimental reason was why i loved it, also i had a mirror so see my daughter comming out as a pushed =] it was amazing.. i loved watching it;; it was breath taking. but i know that there are people who had c-sections every time and wouldnt change that worth anything, if you cant take the pain i suppose you shouldnt have one natural, i had my daughter natural with no pain meds and it was a great experience. i would do it again deffinetly, pain or not, i loved it.. and i bounced right back up and started moving cause i heard its better, where i heard that its very painful after a c-section for a while, but with natural most arent sore for long

I had both of my children natural with an epidural and had no problems. While I can't tell you anything about a c-section, as I don't know about it, I do know that with a regular delivery for both of my children, I had no problems. I went into labor with my daughter, went to the hospital, got my epidural, and had her shortly after, no pain at all. She was 7 pounds 5 ounces. I had my son 2 months ago. I had to be induced because I was already over a week overdue. I actually preferred this because I didn't have any contractions at all. As soon as I felt menstrual-like cramps, I requested my epidural and got it. My son wa born a few hours later after about 10 minutes of pushing. He was 9 pounds, 10 ounces.
I could never have a child without an epidural. The actual process of getting the epidural *having that huge needle shot into your spine* is TERRIBLE, but shortly after, I had no pain. With my children, I had very quick and easy deliveries, but I know some women that have been in labor for days, having to push for hours, and the actual process of pushing is exhausting. With my kids, i only pushed for about 10 minutes each time and I felt completely drained!

I have had 2 c-sections. The first was unplanned, and the second was scheduled. I wanted to give natural birth the second time, but my doctor wouldn't let me. Trust me the scheduled c-section went a lot better than the unplanned. I was totally prepared, and a lot more relaxed. I had it 6 days before my due date. Now I have a 2 yr. old son and a 3 mo. old son. Our family is complete.

well i have had 2 c-sections and although the healing process is a little differnt there are a couple advantages you can have sex quicker and also ur crotch won't become enlarged or stay that way as to a natural birth. i have heard men talk about women who have had natural births that there crotch feels looser and sex changed. a csection is great because you have a scheduled date and time of when ur baby will arrive. disadvantage of a csection after 2 u have to continue that pattern.
