I just found out I am gay last year! I am 13 and ever since than I have been going on porn sites nonstop! Is this normal?

At around your same age, I discovered online porn, too, and I fondly remember that summer as the "cave months"- me just holed up inside the dark den, glued to the computer. Not a lot of sunshine or social interaction, sadly.

Is it normal? It's certainly normal, regardless of orientation, to be that mixture of curious and horny at your age, and to find porn absolutely fascinating (as I still do, many years later). It's completely normal to be looking at it, and looking at it often.

However, I don't know what you mean by nonstop, but you probably should try to cut down on it a little. Just get out a bit, hang out with friends, make sure you don't push other things or people- your life, generally- aside for porn. That's what we call, in layman's terms, an addiction. Looking at porn often isn't bad, but it is if it's controlling your life. I doubt it is, but just keep it in check.

Define what you mean by "normal"?

If you mean typical, then the answer is no it's not typical. Most people are not gay. I'm not sure how you could conclude that you're gay at 13 years old.

Have you already been with men and women and know that you prefer men?

Definitely talk to humans and communicate with people, not look at porn sites all the time. Break the habit now while you can. Go walk around outside.

Not exactly normal, but considering your age I'd say maybe hormones are kicking in. Lighten up on the porn sights a bit and concentrate on your studies. Trust me, when you grow up you want to be more than gay, you will need skills and the only way to get them is to focus now.

I was curious when I was that age, too. However, I stopped myself after a while because I realized that I was too young and the images were a major distraction.

You should at least slow down to once or twice a month, but I know that they're tempting, so don't worry. It is very normal to be curious at that age, but you *do* need to slow down a bit. Otherwise you're going to get yourself in major trouble, either with your parents or with someone else.

You don't find out you are gay! You are either attracted to males (Gay) or females (hetero) or both (bisexual). At 13 it is awful early to make this judgement of yourself. Certainly viewin porn sites is not appropriate at your age, you need som counseling. And some parental supervision.

Hmmm...maybe 13 is a bit young to be always looking at porn sites, but times have changed and it seems a bit "commonplace" for teenagers these days. I won't judge.
Be careful though and don't give info. to people you may encounter online. Seriously.

I think at first it's quite normal, I think it'll subside after you're first sexual experience. However, if you stop doing your usual day-to-day activities to look at porn ... then it's a problem.

Yes, it is normal for a teenager your age, but through excessive viewing others will draw their own conclusions.

you aren't gay you just think that you are gay. just because you notice that someone of the same sex looks attractive doesn't mean you are gay.
