Dwarf Hamsters are pretty easy to care for.

Toys are pretty simple besides the wheel and ball. Cardboard tubs are good. Like toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, and the like. They love to tunnel, so a cage with a deep bottom and such is also a fun toy. Any hamster toy is also good, only no inclines as they have hairy feet and can't climb at all.

Besides their regular hamster food you can feed a Dwarf Hamster fresh food as treats and as a small dinner or breakfast or whatever. Some good fresh foods are,

Spinish,
Parsley,
Almonds,
Carrots,
Celery,
Green beans,
Peas,
Potato,
Garlic,
Potato tops,
Rhubarb,
Rhubarb leaves,
Tomato leaves,

Watch out for food with lots of sugar, you need to be careful of that as they are prone to getting diabetes.

That is pretty much it. Hope these helps. Good Luck.

The dwarf hamsters represent a group of small hamsters in the genus Phodopus. Although they do not belong to this genus, the Chinese Hamster is often referred to as a dwarf hamster as well.
Although more limited in color than the Syrian Hamster, dwarf hamsters are an alternative to pet owners who enjoy a smaller, more sociable hamster. However, they must be handled frequently and gently to stay friendly.

The Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster and Dwarf Winter White Russian hamster usually live between 1.5 and 2.5 years and only reach a size of about 8cm - 10cm. The Chinese Hamster is 10-12 cm in length usually lives to 2.5 to 3 years. The Roborovski Hamster is the smallest at only 4-5 cm and lives to 3 to 3.5 years.

For treat we give them fruity stixs (there for rabbits actually but they always seem to eat them).

Also give them a salt block so they can keep there teeth clean and sharp, water bottles, food dishes, a house or bedding if you prefer and as for food we get them a bag of hamster mix which usally lasts about a week.

As far as toys go an exercise whell is pretty much it, we got one a tube to run through but it used it as a toilet instead.

Hope this all helps in some way.

When i had my hamster. he just ate typical hamster food. I found Yogurt Drop Treats at PetCo, and he loved those... Oh, and I had a little ladder-slide thing, plastic shoe, and hamster ball he played in!

Ok... I fed my hamster Nutraphase food. You can give it veggies, fruits, or sunflower seeds. You can buy little TVs or cars etc. from Petsmart.
