We don't have weasels here in Australia, but we have problems with bloody big feral cats and foxes. Trapping will solve your immediate problem, but before you know it there will be another weasel around. My advice would be to make your hen house predator proof. Dunno about weasels, never seen a real one. But thought you could use a laugh@ HERE we have possums. Yesterday when hubby left for work after he backed out he said there was one under the car big enough to have swollowed our cat whole@!!@@ scary huh? How bout the one a few months ago that was knocking on the back door like the cat does? Hubby thought is was her wanting to come in but when he opened it was possum sitting there banging on it! First tiem I ever heard him scream!

try a live trap there not very expensive and put sometype of food in the back, maybe wet cat food
