Buy a private jet and you'll be broke. $30 million doesn't go bery far when you're buying crazy stuff like that. The main reason so many lottery winners go broke, stupid spending.

I'd buy a big chunk of farm land and turn it into my personal commune for those who have had enough. I have a list of friends and family who would like to do something they enjoy for a living, and I'd incorporate. We'd all be officers of the corporation, but we'd all get to work at things we truly have a passion for.
I have a friend who wants to run a stable. Another who liked to run a bed & breakfast. Another who wants to be a hiking/canoeing guide. Another who wants to run a craft/antique store. I'd like to run an animal rescue, and grow my own fruits, veggies and herbs. Renew some hardwood forests, and give back to the land a little.
None of us would stop working, but at least we would spend the last part of our lives doing something that we care about.

First and foremost i would pay off all my back due bills! Then i would hire someone to draw up the plans for my dream house! But some land, buy a new car. Also pay my old one off! Among other things! Buy everything i could think of neccesitie wise for my kids!

Invest in teh future. Most people who become instant millionaires are broke again within a year because theyt don't invest FIRST. After that I would pay my debts and then buy a home and land!!

I'd do the smart thing and buy Mason Jars, stuff them full and
bury it! Just because the government is going broke don't mean you have to! Then if the kids asked for money I'd hand
them a shovel and say good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would buy a swimming pool, clothes or maybe even a whole mall, a couple of cars, some house like a summer house and a winter house even tho i am too young to have a house and a whole lot of other stuff that is kool!!!!

I'd pay off my debts. Then I'd buy myself a practical house. Then a practical vehicle. Then some furniture. Then I'd do the same for my parents and grandparents.
