hmmm..he's a wannabe emo. He gets happy sometimes. And he has gone to a grave where his hopes and dreams lie. But he doesn't really care about anything but he also has admitted that he likes everyone in bikini bottom. So he's just a wannabe emo or 45% emo is what I'd say.....tehehehe "squidward is emo"

I guess. He laughs sometimes but it sounds gay. But then right after he laughs he goes back to being emo. But then again he doesn't waer black... I don't know. It depends at what perpective you see him.
