I tried it 3 days ago at the Britesmile spa. Prior to starting the session, the dentist took some pictures with the same color swatch as my teeth and told me how many shades I maybe able to go up. She also asked if I would want to continue with the session since mine would only go 2 shades lighter. I chose to continue and just as she said, my teeth only got 2 shades brighter (but I can't even tell the difference).
It took an hour with 3 sessions (20 minutes each). I had to wear this plastic thing that kept my mouth wide open, but I didn't feel any muscle sores afterward though. The dentist also took another picture with the color swatch that match the result.
She gave me before/after pictures in a little keepsake folder. Afterward, she asked if I needed some medications. She gave me Tylenol and also wrote a prescription for Vicodin in case I can't handle the pain that night.
I had trouble sleeping the same night, I took Tylenol and it seemed to help with the pain - thus, I didn't need to fill the Vicodin prescription. Just like what the dentist said, the sensitivity lasted only 24 hours. I was also told not to eat or use anything that would stain a "white shirt" for 24 hours.
If I have a chance, I wouldn't do it again. It's too expensive for something that I can't even tell the difference.
Oh plus, the brite smile call center sucks in customer service. I called them with the credit card problem (they overcharged). If anything, speak with Ken -- he's the manager at call center who actually went above and beyond his call of duty to assist you.

Right after the treatment my teeth were very white, but after a day or two it wore off a bit even though I followed their eating instructions. The results didn't last as long as I liked, but I think that's because my teeth are quite porous, so they stain easily. Also, a bit of warning - when I came home after the treatment, my teeth hurt like hell the rest of the night (I did the whole shebang at one time instead of breaking it up into sessions). I had to stay in bed for hours.
Try Crest WhiteStrips Advanced first. You can at least get your money back if you're not happy.

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be followed. details
