How do i do Bold?

Question

ive always used earth tone colors but i would love to try a diffrent style, i dont like to wear a ton of makeup either, well i dont put it on really thick, i wear foundation, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara. the basic i guess got any good tips?

well, it would of made it easier if you said what you looked like buut i'd try a purple color. purple looks good on every eye color. try a light color like lavender or go bold and try a dark purple. if you go for the dark purple, try lining yer top eyelids with a blue eyeliner. its really cool looking.

Instead of going bold red (not everyone can wear red lipstick). Use a lip tint in a red shade (it's not as dramatic as lipstick but it gives you the look without it being too heavy).

Bold can be subtle so why not try a nude pink lip with lots of blush and three coats of mascara.
On the eyes line the top and bottom with black eyeliner (don't smooth) take an eyeshadow one shade lighter and rim over the eyeliner. (It lasts longer and gives you a dramatic eye) Have fun and try bright colored eye shadows to seal the black eyeliner. It's a runway trick. Try a few false lashes at the end of your natural lash line (don't use a full set) you'll wind up looking too drag lol trust me.

I've been doing makeup since I was 13 believe it or not. I have perfected my craft and those are the best tips I can give you. I hope it helps! Also it would be wise to use them sparingly. =)

you can always play up one on your features
one day you can have neutral eyes and cheeks but put on a fire engine red lip gloss or stick.
or, go for neutral lips, put some blush on your cheeks for color and make a smoky eye with a dark brown or charcoal black shadow. blend it on the top lip and mix into a cats eye for a super bold effect!
and for clothes, go into a store, forever 21, H&M etc, that have bright clothes in it and go wild! pick out things that you wouldnt usually wear and go for it!

if ur gonna do this do it properly..one feature at a time...dont wanna scare no body...try simple facial make up with bright red lips...or really dramatic eyes....with simple muted facial makeup...i kinda like to match a piece of jewlery with my make up..had purple eyeshadow + mascara today with purple chandiller earrings...but take it one step at a time....whatever u choose good luck im sure it will look great !!

Maybe you should try going to Forever 21.
Im serious, i just went to the mall today and they always sell BOLD and OUTRAGEOUS clothing.
I love it.
Seriously..they really sell TONS of bold color clothing there.
Check it out next time you go to the mall.
