I want to divorce him and so does he. But since he ruined my life i want him to pay me alimony. And one more thing there is no sexual relationship between my husband and me from the past 1 year and we are married for 3 years. IS there anyway that i can get alimony. Alimony is a legal right which is provided to the needy spouse who has no income or money to support her/him. According to Indian matrimonial laws it is being provided not only at the time of divorce but even during pend ency of the divorce or any other relevant petition in the matrimonial civil case. Amount of alimony depends on the income of the paying spouse, income if any of the other spouse, property movable & immovable of the parties this includes the one which they may get in future too. This is brief information for more details write to me directly.

Not sure about alimony, thats a technical legal issue that seems....ahem...beyond the knowledge of we Yahoo Answers people. But, this has been awfully traumatic for you, and you will need to just let go, forgive this guy his stupid weakness, and move on with your life. A better life awaits.

It depends on the laws in the state that you live. Find out first and then go about the divorce. My advice would try to work it out through mediation law instead of spending a ton of money through the court system if you are both wanting out.
Good luck to you both!

You need to talk to your parents first.
Let either of ur parent or any uncle or elder talk to ur husband.
Inform ur in-laws about the situation(u can talk with them in the presence of ur parents or elders from ur side of the family.)
U need to pool in help from ur family.....and get in touch with lawyers from ur area.Get their advice.....

All the best...............
