Everyone has to develop a moral code that works for them. I doubt that casual sex--or friends with benefits--leaves no one hurt ultimately. But, I have no reason to condemn you if you and your partners have made it work.

Sex is to make babies, to continue your lineage-that's what its supposed to be for...but its better than taking medicine, so people like to do it other times as well. Religion has said you should only take one wife and make babies, so if you practice making babies, without taking a wife, you are wasting your 'goods'.
I dont think its wrong.
I enjoyed casual sex as a single, young woman before I met my husband. I didnt tell a lot of people how many guys I slept with, I didnt think it was anyone's business. I was pretty monogomous tho. Like, I was sleeping with this guy for about a year, but we weren't boyfriend and girlfriend. He let me know that...he was fooling around with other girls. When I found out, I dropped him and started seeing someone else. Then that guy got back with his ex, and I was on the prowl again. In between all those affairs, I met some hot guys at bars, or where ever! Sowed my wild oats before I got together with my hubby!

I think you have answered your own question. Sex is a very personal intimate relationship between two people and casual should have nothing to do with it. That is my personal opinion. I think the wonderful things in life are not casual occurrences. The right or wrong is now in your court.

isnt it interesting that the US condemns casual sex and sees it as a morally wrong YET has the highest adolescent pregnancy rate?
as europe has more liberal sexual views, you would think that their teen pregnancy rate should be through the roof and way beyond that of the united states.
so what does, essentially, criminalizing casual sex? higher rates of rape, teen pregnancy, higher rates of sexual frustration etc etc etc.
this goes the same of alcoholism and drug addiction . illegalization ALWAYS leads to criminalization. look at what prohibition did to alcohol? it formed the mob. what did criminalizing coke etc do? have south american drug cartels.
so, go have a lot of fun and screw as many hot chicks as you can. wear a condom to not get std's and make sure the slut youre doing is on birth control too cuz rubbers arent 100% and the last thing you want it to be paying 18 years for a one night stand.

Yeah casual sex is wrong. I wont say I've never had casual sex...but hasnt it ever left you feeling wrong. Its left me that way. Sex is a way to show love in a more physical and intimate way. But of course sex has changed to anyting quenching physical lust...it is hateful and angry (rape and molestation), it is creul and malicous ( cheating and revenge) it is noncholant and not a big deal (casual encounters) and it is an experiment, that often goes wrong or not the way intended (young girls in 6th grade that are pregnant and young boys in middle school that have AIDS)
Is it wrong...not in the worlds eyes, not anymore. Casual Sex is like cursing now adays. Is it wrong? It used to be---but americas standards have changed and its not really wrong anymore.

Its like, a new age form of social recreation. To alot of people, its like 2 people sitting down and having a cup of coffee. Minus the fact that they are exposing themselves to the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancy.
I suppose if the parties involved understand the risk and are willing to bear responsibility for all the possible complications, its fine as long they don't bother anyone else's lives.

Nothing, as long as neither you nor she is in a relationship that would be betrayed by the casual sex.
Some people believe such sex is giving in to lustful urges and that sex should only be shared in marriage, but I am not that strict about it.

i agree , i do not see anything wrong with casual sex, as long as it does not involve or hurt others and it is with willing participants. How else are we going to live and learn.

You are dead right my friend.
That's why I love to ask someone FIRST what their definition of morality is... and THEN ask them how casual sex or homosexuality fits in with that and watch them backpedal real fast.

Because God made it a sacred thing between a man and his wife. Sex outside of marriage is fornication.
