You know what I mean..."ACC this, ACC that....Coach K is like the second coming of Jesus....this mid-major and that mid-major don't even belong in the tournament...they kept the ACC from having eight teams in." OK, I exaggerate, but he is such a pompous blowhard with that "everything is finer in Carolina" attitude of his, that I find myself pulling for ACC teams to lose, just to spite Billy the Know-it-All. I know that's stupid....but he just irritates to no end....give me Dicky V. any day.

I think the major difference between the Packer brand of ACC bias and the Vitale brand is that I think Dick Vitale is probably a genuinely nice human being who loves the game.
Packer is a know-it-all troll of a man who's attatched at the hip to that airhead Nance.
I hate any game that guy calls. He knows it all. He knows what a player is thinking. He knows what the coach is thinking. He knows what everyone should've done when something goes wrong. He is a sick, stupid little dwarfish troll beast and should be banished to hockey.

Being in the middle of ACC country, when Pecker is calling a game for my team NCSU, I prefer mute the tv, turn up the radio.
This guy is so damn biased to Wake Forest it's sickening. Say if Carolina, Duke, etc have a great game, make big plays, everyone then is compared to Wake, or player for Wake.
He needs to go commentate ice skating or something.

I couldn't agree more. I was tortured by him and Nantz watching the Big 10 Tournament. He is washed up, old and just out of touch. He is a "wagon jumper" announcer and is not consistent in his analysis. He was especially painful to listen when he talked about my team, Wisconsin. CBS could do much better and he needs to just GO AWAY!

Even us ACC fans can't stand him. I went to the ACC tourney in 2005 and they gave him an award at halftime of one of the games. The fans booed the crap out of him!!! It was hilarious.
