That sucked. That poor kid that missed the free-throw at the end is probably going to think about that every day of his life.

no the better team and the better players won the game. Though Xavier played well but all in all Ohio State is better. Ohio State is also not overrated as a few people have written in this question. I know that Greg Oden did not chose a powerhosue and that makes some mad but that does not mean the buckeyes are overrated. The 1 vs 8/9 game is always close and hard for the 1 seed. but I see Ohio State recovering and winning it all.

No the bottom line is Xavier didn't get it done. I could really care less about Ohio St. Ive told everybody all year that the big ten was a vulnerable league Ohio State could have easily been gone and the same probably holds true for Wisconsin against UNLV, but the bottom line is you have to take care of business when the tournament comes. You get in a position to beat a team like Ohio St and you have to drive home the dagger. Xavier didn't do that.

Yes, I was mad. Ohio State should have lost that game, but then again Xavier just kind of folded in the end. They had a 9 point lead with 2 minutes to go. They didn't protect their lead.

Sorry but Xavier didn't win. Ohio State may not have been playing their best but at the end of the game OSU was on top. The best team won.

I was livid. I am not exactly an Xavier fan. But I was mad at what I view as the OSU hype machine extending to the refs...that being the terrible, terrible no-call when Oden threw that Xavier player into the cheerleaders and photographers. Any Xavier player doing that would've been t'ed up instantly. But not Jesus Oden. No way.

I am a XU alum, so I may be very biased and I also hate Thad Matta for what he did to us. I was upset they lost. OSU is very overrated. Definitely the worst of the #1 seeds. Greg Oden is all he is crazked up to be either. Didn't do anything all game for being so "dominating". Conley Jr did very well and is there best player by far. I think it was just 2 hard fought close game in a row for XU that they eventually wore down. With the HARD Oden fool at the end, and the way XU took over until the end of the game. XU got robbed.

i replaced into rooting for OSU, and that i visit't be mad. Florida ruled them in each way. The money had about a week a lot less wreck day very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and ruled Notre Dame, so as it truly is not any excuse. Ginn's damage damage the offense, yet taking area in gentle zone ALL evening replaced right into a colossal blunder with assistance from OSU's protective coordinator and he under no circumstances adjusted. spectacular gameplan with assistance from the utmost modern, magnificent and brightest enormous sport coach, Mr. city Meyer. As a diehard Tennessee fan, i'm terrified of Tebow and Percival for the subsequent 2-3 years. perchance I could go away the country to spare myself the soreness and distress.

I agree! Xavier should have won easily.
Greg Oden shoved a guy so hard his feet came up, but they called it a regular foul. What a crock.
