They stole kids away from their homeland! The think "the West" is automatically superior, so therefore BIGOTS!! Let those kids go home!

Possibly and possibly not. Look at what Madonna did. I haven't really decided about the issue. However, what REALLY bothers me about the whole adoption biz in Hollywood is this:
1. I get the feeling that these kids are "designer kids" for a lack of a better word. It is fashionable to adopt from third world countries. Kind of reminds me of the chihuahuas in the purse fad.
2. Exactly what is wrong with adopting kids from this country?
How many of our own kids are now orphaned by the same things the out-of-country kids are---poverty, aids, drug addiction, hunger, etc.
3. There's really nothing wrong about helping other countries but as the old saw goes: Charity begins at home. How many times have we heard about how far behind we are compared to other countries despite our "advanced "civilization?
Well, that's my two cents worth. Thanks for letting me blow off some steam.

i don't agree at all, i think it's a good action that shows the beautiful humans they are (Angelina & Brad), they are giving a lot of time to care of poor poeple ion all over the world, they are using the celebrety by its most positiv side.
this was an adoption not a kidnaping, first of all, those children got no parents, so we can not talk about kidnaping, if their family desagreed they would found a difficulty to bring them, but those children are from a poor society..
i agree that the material conditions are not everything, however, i don't think they will find a better life conditions otherwise...
in Africa and the south of Asia, even playing games when you are kid, going to school and many simple things are not given to everyone, i'm african and i know what i'm talking about...
sometimes kids must work to help their parents, they can't study because they have to walk 10 km to go to school...
So those kids are lucky to get such new family!
If all rich poeple would do this, we will save many orphelin kids from many dangers..

Uh, no... adoption is completely legal and I think Brad and Angelina deserve props for being so dedicated to the cause of finding orphans loving homes. While I don't think the "West" is superior to other parts of the world in any way, I like what they're doing.

Actually adopting is not the same as kidnapping. They are providing these children with a home to grow up in. Also Ms. Jolie is teaching them about their ancestry & intends to take them back to their homelands to visit as they grow older. These young children are very fortunate.

If I'm not mistaken those children were all living in poverty and / or in orphanages. I'm going to hazard a guess that their quality of life went up considerably. If the governments of those countries are more than thrilled to let them adopt, it's no one's business.
I hardly think trying to bring some health and stability to some kids' lives qualify them as bigots. Hopefully, they also get loved. I guess time will tell about that one.

On the contrary they should be given a medal. Adopting less fortunate homeless children. In any rate adoption is legal so where do they get it for kidnapping. If anybody is a bigot its You not them so what the hell are you talking about.

Kidnapping and adopting are two different things. She adopted her kids therefore it means she went through a legal process and filed papers.

I haven't heard that they broke any adoption laws. But, yeah, by all means...let's just take every kid adopted internationally by westerners and return to them to the orphanages where they can live in poverty or worse. GREAT IDEA!!!
I think it's pretty clear who the intolerant bigot is.

They do it for publicity mainly and to bash America. Next they will adopt a child from New Orleans that was oppressed by mean old America.

What?????? Those kids are lucky, they certainly will have a better life with someone that will care for them & give them all they need & more. Their parents gave them up, they weren't kidnapped.
