My beta fish is acting weird suddenly. He hasn't been coming to the surface much. He has lost his color a bit. I've recently switched foods but im still worried. What do I do??

Change the water and go back to your original food. You cannot change food like that for any living thing it will make them sick.

it may be age, because almost that same thing is happening to me. im not sure how old he is, but my betta has definitely been loosing his color, and i've had him for a good many years. he even has a complete white spot on his tail fin, and that's not his original color. i don't know about the surface thing, but you may want to switch to the old food again. most animals do not adjust well to switched food suddenly.

that happened to my beta fish once just change the water,go back to your regular food you feed to your beta fish, and you know I think its about to die my beta fish died right when it started changing its color

My Beta did that to for a little while i thought he was dead and i would tap the glass and he would move couple days later he died
