First off, if you want to create an awesome website you must purchase a domain(u don't necessarily have to purchase a domain), as well as know HTML and possibly javascript. If you don't know any of these perhaps you can create a free one by using www.freewebs.com, They offer tools to help you create a website without having to know html.

I saw your post and there are something like 3 suggestions for an easy website creation after getting a domain name. Try www.pagevamp.com, this might be the easiest way for you. you don't need to know anything about website designing for this.It has really cool layouts. All you need is a facebook page and within seconds you will have a website. Just check it out, you'll thank me later.

Who is your server? That is where you'll want to start, you may have some free space through your server, then you'll need to download Front Page. If you do a Google search you can find some neat web page builders. I'm all about free so if the Front Page isn't what you need or want look on One Source they have all kinds of cool stuff to download for free!!!

If you want to make money from it , you should do it
properly. That requires a domain name, web hosting and
site promotion to get traffic and sales.
The easiest way to do all this is to buy a complete package that includes domain, web hosting etc. It could save money in the long run.
Add affiliate programs and Adsense ads on the site theme
to monetize your traffic.
Good luck,
John

There are free webhosts which do not cost anything and have free pagemakers. These are free and thus will have banner advertising on your pages. For something more professional i would recommend http://myjoomlahosting.com , they have demos which will show you how to use the Joomla Content Management System.
