Of course it's been annoying you...it's an annoying question. How does he actually expect anyone to know that? Sheesh, find a list of all the papers in the world and then do a conversion on the currency for 200 countries. Gee, ANYONE ought to be able to do that in about a minute!!

It'd cost a lot, not just to buy them, but also to collect them- you'd have to get them delivered somehow, you'd be paying for tons of airmail. Just ordering them would cost too- you could use the internet for a lot of them, but the rarer ones might require you to call by phone, or send a letter, and you may need to hire a translator or an interpreter to make the order.
Does he always ask you these kind of questions, or is this the first time?

there is a crazy woman who goes to every place that sells newspapers in our town and buys a copy of each one at each place.
she doesnt even read them she just puts them in her spare bedroom, when the local council went round they found the room neatly stuffed full to the top. apparently you couldnt even walk into the room. the woman just smiled and said "i love my collection!"
